X-Valve: does it require 400 psi to operate?

I was wondering if the regulator portion had been designed to operate at a lower input pressure (280 psi lets say) than the previous AGD valves (400 psi)?

* I meant ~650 psi input pressure* I realize the older regulators stepped the input pressure down to 400 psi for firing paint.

650 will BARELY run it. 800+ and it's happy.
