And just because there's cheap stuff out there that says it's good, don't do it! Such as ANS for example. Great prices, but they don't perform that well. Suggested companies to buy from are:

WGP
Kapp
Planet Eclipse
Dye
MacDev
Palmers

Also, just because it's aftermarket doesn't mean it's better either. The stock WGP valve is just as good as any aftermarket for example. Last but not least, every time you short stroke, god kills a kitten, so go for a Hinge or Dye Swing (I prefer hinge but whatever works for you)

I'd go look for a 2k+ completely (or nearly) stock cocker. Upgrade it piece by piece, and eventually you'll have nothing stock left, and you'll be able to reassemble your original cocker from the leftover body and other parts for a backup.

Go to www.4freeflow.com , Look in products/freeflow. Pick up one of their bad azz bodies for $100.
Pick up a totally assembled grip frame for another $100. Pick up the full internal kit for $99. Pick and choose your front pneus. People sneeze on the ANS front kit but my lil bro got that kit and in all honesty its not bad, had a hiccup with the reg because i stripped the threads but ANS happily replaced it. Thats like another $100. Pump arm, cocking rod, timing rod. Lets say a few other things like ASA screw, valve jam nut if it was somehow left out, beavertail, and add that all up.
Its not gonna be cheap. But so much fun, for...~$450 including lil trinkets I may have left out. Freeflow has awesome warantees on their stuff too.

can you believe that, a totally custom FREEFLOW cocker for a tiny bit over 400 bucks. A new stock cocker is like mid 350ish or 400 in proshops.
