I pickedup a pair at the Vegas NPPL for $25. So far I like them, I have only played in them twice so far but they dont dont show iny signs of abuse yet. I do like that they have lost of strechy pannels in them and breath very good. The only bad thing I have found so far is they are Hand Wash only, and cool or hang dry.

They're really good for playing on grass...If you're playing on rocks or hard dirt they get ripped quite easily...I've had them for about 3 months and theres a hole in each knee about 1 inch by 1 inch

But again, they're awesome for grass play

well I mainly play on grass, there are some dirt spots on it though. how are they strength wise compared to blue jeans? or black bdus?(the other pants im considering)

They're not as tough as blue jeans...not many pants are. They have strong stuff on the knees, but if the pants aren't the perfect length for your leg, the strong stuff will be on your shins, thats why I got the rip in mine.

well Im already starting to get a hole in my blue jeans just from sliding around on grass.

What kinda pants should I look into then? If Im going to plop down a bunch of cash for some pants, I dont want them ripping on me in 3 days of play.

Either you slide really hard, or you got cheap blue jeans;) :p

so you think the fusion would be fine? its either the fusion, or im jus gonna go get me some black BDUs, which Ive already checked out, and look like theyre pretty tough.

Like I said, its mainly grass, just on some of the bunkers, its dirt where the grass has been worn away.

They'll be fine if they fit right...

I use bdu's. I dont see the point of all this expencive nonsence when bdu's will go through anything.

well if I can pay $60 and get a lifetime warranty, Id much rather do that, then end up having to get more pants later.

If you have iny tournys in your area check there for your pants, the vendors sell lots of gear for cheap and almost give it away on the last day before they close up there booths(There to lazy and dont want to pack it up:) ) This would also allow you to check out all the diffrent styles.

Robert,

Get Mil Spec BDUs - If you can get em from a PX or from a company that supplies them to the Military all the better. Also don't get 100% Cotton. Remember if it's good enough for Uncle Sam is good enough for paintball :)

I destroyed a pair of SP Rase pants in 2 weekends(big tears on both knees etc) and I play BACK. Still using the same pair of BDU's I bought in 98 or so I think. Also good BDU's DON'T fade in the wash. Cheap ones (or not good quality I mean)do.
