View Full Version : Nitrogen Tank w/o/ Fill Nipple?

I got this old goof ball tank here, got it in a trade.. it has no fill nipple also doesn't have a pin valve. Instead of a pinvalve it has an on/off dial type thing...
I am not sure if this is a co2 reg on the bottle though which is what is confusing me... the bottle is a "pressure technologies inc. bottle" rated @ 3000 psi..
Anyone familiar with what I am talking about?

Do you have a picture? It is probably one of those 68 cu co2 tanks. Post a pics and lets see.

I see them a lot, they are nitrogen tanks converted to use with co2. No fill nipple because co2 tanks fill thru the valve.
yeah its a 68/3000 tank (can still put a reg on it for n2) with a smart parts on/off on it...

and i was shafted once...the kid said it was a n2 tank, but it he used it for c02....once u use c02 in a n2 tank, u cant put n2 in it ne more

Yea those are the old Smart Parts 68ci antisiphon tank. got the old style on/off before it went to the blue colored ones.
