I saw someone post something about a 90 degree frame in the y grip thread. I'd like to know more about what it is, cuz i'm completely in the dark on it.

Peace,
J.J.

well..if Coolhand can pull it off..Kudos to him...but I wonder how much WDP is going to charge him to use their patented design...unless he wants to chance it and let their lawyer's decide..

Nice design...but I have seen it somewheres before? Lemme think..thats RIGHT! On a ...Cocker. Haha jp. I dun see why WDP would care I mean...Trixxies and Imps have the same designed frame, maybe they worked something out? Or maybe they held the Queen hostage? Who knows..

it's a mechanical trigger frame right?
so what business is it of wdp?
even if it looks similiar....that's where the similiarities end
unless they have some broad ranging patent over anything with a 90 degree angle...
oh wait no smart parts are probably working on that one :D

well it looks nice but wdp has patented the 90 degree frame and any other frame that is not made by wdp really is not 90 degrees at all. like i believe the otb is eith like 89 or 91 degrees. although it looks and feels the same the patent limits these frames so technically its illegal if its 90 degrees.

As I recall WDP patented the OPTO TRIGGER, not the 90º frame, otherwise OTB would've been out of business...

Well i dont kno about the oppto trigger but i am quite certain that there is a patent on the 90 degree frame i think i got it correct

o and the reason otsb is not out of business is simply that their frame is not 90 degrees at all its eithe 89 or 91 not sure which one but the patent prohibits anyone from making a 90 degree frame.
