View Full Version : I wanna see some totally CUSTOM mags

I'm in the process of getting custom work done on my gun and want to see some of the wacky things you've done with your mags. When I say custom I mean they should have some part(s) that are not availible in stores. For example, a tunamag does not count, a mag with stock class feed tube does. I would mostly like to see mags, but other CUSTOM markers would be cool to see too.

Thanks guys

How well does it work, and if you did that to a retro, would you loose the reactivity of the trigger?

well, people have been doing this for years, by gutting the reg half and adding an inline. i just have a cap so i dont have to leave the reg half on.

it works great, everything i could have hoped for. super consistant (i came damned close to constant ± 1fps with co2), and the recharge is fast enough that if i use HPA, the valve heats up during fast games.

yes, if you did it to a retro, you would lose the reactivity.

Though it's not totaly "Custom" there is one thing on this RT that cannot be store bought. And currently, there are two things, just don't have a pic of the second.

Now, I know this is not a mag, but it's my custom cocker...

Well I'm going to post ShooterJM's Dragon mag, I think it fits the bill as "custom"... plus seeing it all day on Saturday made me wonder how Tyson Machado could take two site rails and a dremel to make this...

This mag is definitley THE nicest mag there is period. Some polish guy i think did it or something on the boards. I took the picture from his video so sorry about the bad quality.

I would like to see some higher res pics of it so hopefully he catches this thread.

Ok, I was going to wait to post this one until ano is finished, but here she is pre-ano and pre-polish. I am picking it up from polisher this week and than going to ano.

Where to start. This is an emag, however the first thing you will prbly notice is no battery pack. This one will run off 6 3v lithiums until further findings on a the ULT. Battery's will mount in halo or shrink wrapped in with airhose line. Halo is custom and that is about all I can say for now on that except for the fact that it mounts much lower than a typical Halo setup.

Gripframe is milled under panels similar to a ULE frame. There is an on/off switch mount in the front of the main gripframe right behind the forgrip. The hump in the gripframe is hollowed out with angled cuts on the mill. There is dovetail rail milled directly on the bottom of the gripframe for direct attachment of tank. The hall-sensor has been relocated and there are new magnet locations in the arm of the trigger that normally hits the selector switch. Trigger is styled in the same fashion as Army's and some others on AO.

Mainbody rail is milled in similar fasion to ULE rail with more meat removed, sides shaved flat, shortened sear-rod pin so that there doesn't have to be a hump on the one side near the allen socket. Rail also is milled to hold an ACE board. ULE body has hole in bottom of breech for ACE sensor. The holes left over from the site rail screws are where a power input jack will be mounted if batteries end up going in the Halo. Front forgrip was bored out and has slots milled in it for weight reduction.

And to top it all off.....Magnetic detents!

I probably missed a few things and will have a seperate thread for this in the workshop forum when she is 100% complete.

Looks were never an intention on this version. It is solely for performance and weight savings. Cleaning is also a breeze without having nooks and crannies to clean out.

Wow, that's nice kila! Maybe you could round out the rail a little... just shave a little off.... you know... just a little more... lol

I think I know what you did with the halo though. I saw the idea posted somewhere before. Very cool if that is what you did.
