well, i had this idea on the way back from the paintball store. i believe it would drive agd sales through the roof. have a contest where agd would give away an xmag to a randomly selected purchaser from the store. each purchase you would make from the store would count as an entry, you and you could have as many entries as you want. you could keep it to a limited time period, say a month or two weeks. i think people would order more than enough from the store to recoup the losses from the giveaway, and it would make even more money for airgun designs.

Why not give out 1 ticket per dollar spent with a maximum cap of say, 100 tickets?

That way buying 1 o-ring won't get you too many tickets and those with enough money to buy an emag already won't get 1000 tickets.

I doubt he'd give away an X-mag... Warp feed or RT pro maybe, they give those things out like they are trying to get rid of them...

To do it as you suggest would make purchasing from the online store gambling. There could be ramifications from that.

thats why they would have to say "no purchase necessary" and allow people to write in and get an entry

You would have to make it something like each cent counts as one chance, or maby a formula that gives more chace per doller with increased size in order, like 50 dollers allows 10 chaces, but 100 dollers allows 30 chaces

oh, wat already said that, I missed that when I skimmed through

and hi tec is right, it would be considered gambling, therefore you would have to be 18 to order and they would probably have to pay gabaling taxes

sounds a bit like what kingman did with the 12,000 dollar/ car giveway. They put registration stuff for the contest in their gun boxes

Wait, that's right, as long as it's a product and not money you win it's not gambling, otherwise raffles or arcades that give out prizes or the stands at amusement parks would be considered gambling

How about throwing in some Capo posters as well?;)

that was my understanding as well. since it is a product, and not cash, it isnt technically a contest. and i was thinking that any size pruchase could count. i know that agd makes money on shipping prices, so even the smallest order would still make them some money. so the more little orders the better, right?

I think there should be a set guideline as to what you order gets you entered into the contest. If you order a whole mess of small things i.e. o-rings, screws, spacers etc, it should match the price total of a bigger item such that of a ULE body or perhaps even a warpfeed. It wouldn't be fair to the person that bought a large item, if the winner of such a contest just bought an o-ring.

Thats my two cents.

How about:
$50-100 = 1 ticket
$100-150 = 2 tickets
$150-200 = 3 tickets
and then that up to $500 then it stops?

I like this idea... but make the cap 500 tickets! :)
