On behalf of the promoters, field owners, advisory board and players of the Carolina Field Owners Association, I thank Tom Kaye and Airgun Designs for their generous ongoing sponsorship of the CFOA in 2003. 76 teams came from across the southeast region to compete for cash, prizes, trophies and bragging rights at Adventure Beach Paintball near North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina last Sunday, and some players walked away with Warp Feeds that have become an important part of one of the richest prize packages in regional paintball. Airgun Designs, in addition to National Paintball Supply and the rest of our sponsors, Diablo, Xtreme Sports Fulfillment, Ultimate Air Ball, Powerlyte, Morgan Awards, Crossfire, The Matrix Center, Paintball Central, Extreme Rage, Traumahead Sportz and Kalibur, have helped to make the 2003 season the most successful in CFOA history averaging over 80 five-man teams per date. Look for information on the CFOA at www.thecfoa.com, the official CFOA website, or from our media partners, Paintball 2Xtremes Magazine, www.WARPIG.com and 1Shot Productions.

Special thanks also to fellow Automag shooters Bob, Daisy and Nick Vest of 1Shot Productions who travelled from Oklahoma to produce a DVD of the Myrtle Beach CFOA event.

Josh… My I use this picture? It is a very nice shot of one of my products.

(Added: Although I just scanned my records and I don’t recall ever sending Nick a barrel wrap. LOL Maybe he got it through a 3rd party? This has really peeked my curiosity. :) Unless that is NOT one of mine and someone else is making Barrel Wraps with my exact dimensions, colors, and style, to include the gray cord. ;).... unless that is not HIS marker! Didn't think of that either.)

I'll settle this. First off, go right ahead and use that photo of Nick, Shartley. It isn't actually his mag, you're right. It was a young man who was competing in the event's mag, and Nick and I were checking it out, but I figured since he was a mag shooter the photo was equally priceless.
To clear things up, no that photo of the man in the red Dye jersey is not me (you're right Graycie he IS wearing shoes good point.) That is a friend of mine from team Stash, who was using CFOA Promoter Larry Motes' ULE EMag that we had put together the day before the event. This man's paintball gun went down early in the day and he finished the event with Larry's EMag, and fell in love with it to the point that after they made the finals, he held it in their awards ceremony photograph. It definitely proved to be a killing machine. Even after blowing the foamie off the bolt Saturday thanks to Level 10 this non-Mag shooter did not break a single ball, shooting Draxxus Inferno.

Thanks. :) And if you would, either send me his contact info, or ask him for me, so I can get his permission as well. If he does not want his likeness used I will just use the picture without his face... ;) But I would prefer to use it all... he is quite photogenic.

Was his gun a black and yellow Lasoya by chance? Because if it was, it had to be Odie. Unless I'm just ignant.
