What are the differences between the old and new powerlyte scepter?

Do they look different? If so how? Can someone post pictures of both styles?

I would also like to see pictures of a 14" ALL BLACK scepter on a gun.

Pics, pics pics!

Thanks.

I posted this on PBN but no one has posted and they suck. :)

Well... I have one of both... The backs are interchangable but the new ones don't have a window to see the bore indication on the insert. And the new inserts are labeled at the top anyway, not on the side.

The inserts are milled differently and thus the tip is machine to match the differences.

The tips have a tapered brake instead of the old style huge long muzzle.

Other than that, they seem to perform the same. Sorry, I don't have any pics right now, when my emag gets back from ano... I'll take some pics side by size.

on the old style, the inserts centered into the barrel
on the new style, the barrel centers into the inserts

So when did they start making the new style?

They introduced the 2003 scepters at Mardi Gras Open

The new Speedlines have the same tappered muzzle break as the Scepters. New One-Piece Speedlines will be available soon too. They will look like the two piece designs but be about half the cost.
