hmm.. i know a couple friends who go up to lake almanor every year.
anyways, i have an entertaining story(for you guys) about a recent round. im really not that good. i have no hope of making my high school team, you need to shoot in the mid to low 70s to have any chance at my school. so i usually just play with my dad a couple times a month. anyways, sunday we started on the back nine. didnt play very well on the back, shot a 48. but on the front nine, i was on fire. had a stretch where i went par birdie par birdie. so i come up to the last hole, a medium length par 4. what do i shoot? an 8!!! turns out if i had parred that hole i would have broken 40 on 9 for the first time, and i would have broken 90 on 18 for the first time!! and i blow it, because i happen to 5 putt the last green. grr.

I play in a lot of tourneys through work.

I play in the Ron Jaworski Celebrity Shoot-Out every May at the Atlantic City Country Club (birthplace of the term "birdie"). On Monday (04 Aug 03) I am playing in the NFL Alumni Philadelphia Chapter Golf Tourney. Then on Friday the 15th, I am playing at the United Way of Cumberland County's Open at Jaworski's club.

ALL of the tourneys I play in are best ball/scramble, so We always are below par in them. Alone, I shoot high 80s/low 90s.

Played for my team in H.S., and was pretty damn good in college. 24 handicap. I'm happy with it

Hmmm I just started this summer and I'm rather terrible. Need to take a lesson on driving and putting. Well. That or practice.....

wow never realized there were this much people that play golf. my handicap is 13 right now. not the lowest but not that bad. the best golfer on our high school team has a .5 handicap. he is really good.

I'm in Fl. so it's required.:)

5 mins from LPGA headquarters/golf course as well as about 7 more I think.

Played in H.S. till age 20 then not again till 6-7 years ago.

Was scratch,now who knows I don't really track it anymore.Not scratch,but I THINK I could get back there if I played more than once a month.Shot 74 2 weeks ago,79 before that.(not a real hard course)

Fair or better I guess.

Jay.

I play all the time. My grandfather gets a new set of clubs every year, so he gives his old ones to me. Right now I have a complete set of Pings and Taylor Mades. I usually shoot in the mid 70s for 18.
