Haha, I remember when my bro bought one of those back when we first started playing. No more than a month after he bought it, it snapped all the way in half.

I had one of those for my first gun after 3 months it almost froze my friends hands, he was twisting off the c02 and the gun basically blew c02 all over his hands. After it happend his hands were blue and he said they hurt because they were so cold, and then it never worked anymore lol. Those guns blow.

I was playing my last few games on Sunday, and 2 guys showed up with one of these things, they sounded like a bloody Bazooka when fired. heh It was kinda cool

Anyone here, aside from me, been playing long enough to remember when the original Stingray came out and APG did their review of it??

The drove over it with a truck, shot it with a .22, and did some other junk to it ... and yes it did still fire ...

However I am guessing that the original one was made allot better ... if thats possible.

I bought a Stingray in '94, and played with it for three years. It was very tough, and I had almost no problems with it. It had a wierd size feed neck, and heavy trigger pull, but I kept it clean and it served me well. I tricked it out, too. :D Venturi bolt, bottomline, expansion chamber and a BOA barrel.

ha i had one as my first gun. The bolt started leaking for no reason. My friend used it as a hammer and hit a plastic toy. It broke in half where the barrel meets the bolt

"the Stealth Series offers an exciting new look and appearance that is unmatched in paintball today. The Stingray™ II Ice continues to be an excellent choice for playing locations which require low velocities such as indoor fields."

LOL

A kid we were playing with snapped one in half and he didn't even know how it happened

The Stingray™ II Ice continues to be an excellent choice for playing locations which require low velocities such as indoor fields.

Is that because it can't shoot above 250 fps? ;)

This was my first gun. It broke (the body snapped in half) after the first time I played with it. My brother-in-law also had one that the internals pooped on him, so we combined it to one nasty gun. Still works...

You do realize the stingray predates the talon by quite a few years? you guys act like BE just fell off the turnip truck and is behind the times in everything, but they have been making guns forever... its just their choice to go quantity and affordability over quality

Yup stingray definatley. never could get my 96 stingray under 300 FPS

but if we are talkin talons, i tied a length of rope to mine and my friends and made (trumpets blare)

"Chizle's Pattented Talon-Chucks"

didnt really work but we were board and really hungry.

The origional model 1410.
State-of-the-art copolymer featuring lightweight, modular design.
Muzzle Velocity: 280 fps.
Weight: 2.6 lbs.

Still works like a charm & sounds like a cannon when it fires.

Can't kill it!
