Whoops! Someone disobayed the rules.
NEVER EVER adjust your trigger rod. EVER!!!!
Now go buy yourself some calipers and adjust it back to 1.985"

You don't need calipers. Just adjust the trigger rod so that it almost touches the back of the trigger when the gun is gassed up and the trigger is fully forward.

You want about the width of a credit card from the back of the trigger and the tip of the rod.

And DON'T touch it again. There's a reason why we all say "DON'T TOUCH THE TRIGGER ROD."

Not to seem rude... but why would they make it adjustable if your not supossed to adjust it?

It's so THEY can adjust it. The sear is one material and the trigger rod is another. Has to be put together SOMEHOW.

plus there is also a reason why there is RED LOC-TITE on the parts that are made to stay put

Ah, a fine question.

I don't have my Automag manuals handy, but can you tell me the page number where AGD tells the user, "Hey, if you're feeling bored and want to tinker with your marker, try changing the trigger rod length!"
