free driver downloads?

are there any sites with free driver dl's for HP scanners? I went to the HP site and it prompted me to a screen to calculate shipping charges, is it really necessary that they send me some sort of disk?

what model? there shouldn't be any charges. you should just be able to download them.

I don't think there was a charge for the software, I didn't see it dl avaialable so they charge for the shipping of another disk I guess.
