Ok, here it goes...CHEAPER way, hardware store. A lot of hardware stores CAN do this, and have done it on some paintball stuff of mine in the past. Yes they can do what you want, most likely that is.

Scary thing is, I'm interested in the same thing sort of: so a hardware store can actually do all the work needed to set up secure threads for a screw in aluminium? What would be a higher quality but still reasonably affordable option?

You can do it yourself if you know what you're doing and have the right tap

I ment you could go to home depot and probally buy the right tap.. they might be able to do it there as well

Yeah, that's what you want, some 6 buck an hour stock guy drilling a hole in your gun.

Find someone experienced unless the marker doesn't mean to much to you.

youre never going to find the correct tap for angel threads (though you might get lucky on the LPC threads). It is a special order metric tap, nobody stocks it... anywhere... :-P

email punisher, doc, KP (maybe), or somebody who does pball work for a living (or even as a serious hobby).

why dont you make 7 posts in the main forum asking for doc nickel and only doc nickel to answer your question? That worked last time...oh wait it didn't.

yea... 7 posts, seemed alot like 1, but if u say so....

When you delete a post and repost the same thing 7 times, that's 7 posts. And it's more than 7 times more annoying. I'm not sure how much more, we'll have to ask doc nickel and only doc nickel to get a straight answer on that one.

To answer your question and stop being a dick, send it to someone who knows what they're doing. Those aren't normal easy threads, I doubt you could even drill the original hole for them. See if Pun, Doc, whitewolf, or somebody will help you out.

actually i deleted it and reposted it once because you and sum other were totally defeating its purpose, and if thats too annoying for you, too bad.
