This has been going on for a few hours now.... really irritating. I'll be sittin there lookin through music or talkin on MSN or something, and a window will pop up and say that the system is shutting down and I have 45 seconds to close all my programs and all unsaved information will be lost. You cant stop it or anything. You cant ctrl+alt+delete it. You cant shut the comp down yourself because the timer runs out in the middle of windows logging off and it freezes up. Anyone know what the problem is? It says it is initiated or something by NT ATHORITY/WINDOWS I think, I only have 45 seconds to look at it, so its hard to remember.

Are you using a laptop? It may be a battery thing... but that is probably the weirdest thign I've heard in a while. Maybe a good virus?

Do you live on Campus at a college or something? Could be a hacker or a worm that has gone through your network.
