If your having trouble with your computer saying that you have 60 seconds until its going to restart apply this patch:

Haven't had it happen to me and i don't have a firewall or anything like that. If it's happened then you should probably run some antivirus software just incase.

It's a worm, or atleast mine was, it also screws with your internet connection. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.blaster.worm.html

Dude, Im so pissed now, i reformatted my hard drive and lost 1500 mp3's because of that Remote Procedure Call thing! I thought my computer was seriously effed up.

uggg thats what was lagging my computer last night! o well time to scan.


EDIT: i finished scanning cleaned up a couple things however i couldnt clean up kernel 32 all i could do is quarenteen it. now we had a virus there before and my mom deleted it and it screwed up the computer. so where can i get a non infected version of it?

I just got this yesterday, but I had one of my computer friends come over and kill it for me. now I am 100% virus free(says the norton virus scan).

I just got my new pc all set up and what have you and I just finished downloading 36 megs of patches, its installing now

I figure that ones in there somewhere..

if I install this patch, am I gonna loose any files or anything? This has happend to me like 3 times a few weeks ago, but it stopped and hasn't bothered me yet.
