I'm mentioning it here out of interest for it.

http://www.webdogradio.us/video/oldschool/BillGrun.mpg Bill Gardner in the 1995 ESPN World Cup footage. Makes a run for the flag, and... well... The worlds "Garage Sale" come to mind. And if I remember correctly he dislocated his elbow in the crash.

And before you ask, that IS an Automag in his hands.

MPG file, presented as taped from ESPN. No, I'm not getting paid for these, It's just a part of the museum at Web Dog. If you go to the root site http://www.webdogradio.us/video/oldschool you'll find other old vids, plus a Youngblood part of the same game the Gardner run is from.

Share and Enjoy.

I havent watched it yet, but my field owner recorded a tape off ESPN, if I recall in 1995. Its so cool...everyone has cockers and funny little goggles. Its so cool. All the bunkers are tiny, little rectangle pieces of wood.

lol! The 1985 nightline is pretty funny :) imagine if they aired something like that today, we'd all have heart attacks

I wonder how disney land's paintball team name would go down today, Mickey's Gihad :) lol

Well, if you want to see the whole game...

http://www.webdogradio.us/video/oldschool/ESPN1.wmv This is the lo-res version, and I'll put up the high-res version ASAP.

What yo're viewing is 15 or so meg in size, and it's the WHOLE GAME as it appeared on ESPN in 1995. The commercial breaks edited out (so it's about 24:15 in time length). It features The Ironmen vs. All Americans. Anyone who's familiar with the tourney scene will recognise most of the names, as a lot of them are still around on diffrent teams.

Arguably, this was one of the best matchups of all time.

Enjoy!
