Another reason to have a paintball gun (during a blackout to protect yourself/keep relatives you hate away:D)

I play cs also and its in Mass. but I stopped beacuse I was too good and My Kill:Death ratio was 7 kills for every death.
I think i was about 6000 kills 800 deaths. and I had the most kills with M4A1, cause it rules :D

The same thing happened to the West side of the country back in August of 96.

I remember because I was in traffic school all bloody day, and then the power went out and I got away from it early. It was out for several hours from Washington to Mexico, all the way out to Vegas.

No big deal, just shows how dependant we are on convinience.

Power around here was down till around ten. I must say it was a relaxing evening, I split some wood then sat on the back deck with a cold brew from the cooler and a couple of steaks on the barby. We sat around and talked about nothing much, then when it got dark we stargazed. I didn't worry about the power or being a tech drone and didn't get bored at all.
Isn't it amazing how much background noise we are constantly bombarded with, and how quiet it gets when you lose it.
What a nice break it was for me.

Power was out for just short of 12 hours in my area. Got me out of my last night shift of the year before going back to school (with partial pay! <hurray>).

Amazing how quiet it was with all of the airconditioners in the neighbourhood turned off. Spent the evening reading by the light of a Coleman lamp.

Please, if all of Canada lost power it would only affect 20% of the country.
