I recently purchased a Nitro Duck Mini Reg air system, when I reiceved the tank I looked in the fill nipple and noticed that it was about 50% blocked with some sort of dirt. I used a paper clip to remove most of the blockage. I am going to have it hydrotested so I imagine that should clean out the tank area, but I am worried abotu the regulator itself. Is there any way I can clean out the reg without damaging it? I just dont want to fill my Retro Valve full of dust and dirt. Any help would be appreciated

You should be able to take the regulator apart and clean it. Don't use oil on the orings when you put it back together though. The oil vapour can cause an explosion at the higher psi. Use a glycerin lubricant(I think that's what it is). It is designed for a higher pressure use.
