I thought this was interesting. The 03 Shocker is indeed tiny. BTW, I got this from the Impy Owners Group.

Actually, that photo is a bit deceptive in the perspective...

Notice where the HPA rail is located on the hand grips of both markers, how the shocker's appears lower. If you look closerly, you'll also notice that the shocker is leaning on the xmag, which makes it appear smaller.

The fact of the matter is, the physical comparison between the two, they're pretty close.

It's definitely an improvement over the "shoe/bread box" design of the former incarnations.

Would definitely like to see some more pictures from different angles.

You have to compare the two with common points like the trigger or the field strip screw. If the frame is taller but the body is small it's not really as small as it seems when your holding it.

both guns have the same tank setups on them

ehhhhhhhh...
yeah its small

I fired one a few days ago at my local field- easy to walk, but nothing special. It was getting shootdown at higher rates of fire, and didnt feel very easy to shoot fast when not walking the trigger...

overall, not that impressed
(and ive never shot an x-mag, i shoot a classic valve)

Those are my markers. For the whole thread go to Black Cell (http://www.teamblackcell.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=9&t=768) adn check out my initial review. I was not going to post anything up here till I was able to get more data this weekend.

enjoy

EDIT: both markers were equiped with maxflo tanks to make weights and size comparisons equal. I still cant belive it is a full pound lighter.

I bet if you took the bat out of the X and out of the new shocker and then ran the weight it would be dam close.

Anything less than a case of a 68/4500 is sad for a new gun.

Is it me or does it really look like their is a lot of room for your fingers. Look how spaced out the frame is, the trigger guard comes out to far and makes a big hole. Its huge. I don't like that much room for my fingers. Do you guys see what I'm talking about?

I noticed that, but I like all that room. I was shooting a buddies Strange Impulse the other day, and the grip frame it tiny. I could hardly fit two fingers in there.

I agree, and it sucks. I will not buy a Shocker just because of what SP is doing.
