Hi... I'm JT3, and I'm a paintball noob. (Hi, JT3!)

I'm sorry if this has been covered 1.4 million times, but after a quick search, I couldn't quite find the exact information I'm looking for, so I thought I'd ask.

My marker is a 99 Automag RT, topped by a VL Revolution (got a good price on eBay). Here's a quick pic, just in case it will help:

I'd like to set up the Intellifeed mod., but I'm not sure about a couple things.

First off, I know for a fact that I don't have an intelliframe. I'm not exactly sure what trigger assy. I DO have, but the person who sold it to me called it a "Benchmark 2" (It is a double groove trigger, with a weird, for me, "pull pin" safety... unlike the normal dual-sided push-pin safety I'm used to seeing).

Okay, the ultimate goal here is to link my Revvy so that it feeds when I push the trigger. I'm assuming that the Intellifeed mod. is the best way to go, but someone correct me if there's a better way. My main question is... I see a lot of IFrames out there for sale, but how can I tell that I'm looking at one that fits the 99 Automag RT?

Other questions include:

1. Will the IFrame do away with the Reactive Trigger "sweet spot" for which I bought the marker in the first place, or will everything work as it did before?

2. Where's the best (and cheapest) place to buy one of these things? I'm seeing them around the net for $109. Is that a good price?

3. Other than the Intellifeed conversion steps (which I have from the tutorial, as well as the alternate method posted on this board), is there anything else I should know about this modification.

4. This goes back to the "is there a better way question." I'm hearing that some motorized hoppers have "vibration sensors." I'm assuming that they utilize a different method to activate on a trigger press. Would I be better off getting one of those hoppers, instead of trading out my trigger assembly? If so, which one is best (without breaking the bank, I mean)?

5. A little off topic... I just got this marker, and other than a drop forward (with on/off valve), and a Lapco barrel, I'm pretty sure that there are no upgrades/mods installed. Is there anything (besides a Lvl 10 bolt) that I really need to be considering?

I'm sorry if this post was long for a noob question, but hopefully, I got all my questions out there, and someone can help me out. I'd REALLY appreciate it. Thanks.

1) No. The I frame shouldn't do away with that sweet spot. HOWEVER, remember this- sweetspotting is a really good way to bust and wear down parts (Sear, bolt, trigger rod) and is technically a malfunction of the gun.

2) $109 for the frame is about right. You can try to find one used in the classifieds here on AO for cheaper though.

3) Nope. The mod is easy.

4) I'd rather have the hopper turn every pull instead of vibe. That's just me.

5) Level 10 is about ALL of the AGD upgrades besides a warp feed that you can do to a Classic RT. Their body style and air flow path are different than other AGD guns, and therefore cannot use any of the new ULE bodies.

6) Welcome to AO.

Hey! Welcome to AO!!

I'm not positive if there is a specific I frame for the classic RT or not but I have done the intellifeed on a benchmark frame: See here (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=81167&highlight=benchmark)
You could also go with a force feed hopper such as the Halo B, but those are pricey!

Hope this helps a little.

try taking off your grips to see if you have room for a roller lever switch (it should have 2 screw holes in the middle of the frame if so then it should be an intelliframe

His question wasn't if he had one, his question was if there was one that fit his gun...
