How low can your tank be for normal operation on a mag, someone told me that when his tank would start to get low like 600 or 700 left it would start leaking down the barrel till the tank was empty. Almost like it did not have enough pressure to seal. So my question is how low can you go without problems?

It varies from setup to setup. Level 10 carriers and springs can change this from gun to gun.

mine will shoot until about 600PSI and then it just stops.

Both my Emag and Xmag give up the ghost around 650-700psi.

Does this have to do with the operating pressure of the mag becase some of the other guns I've had will run all the way down to 0.

it has to do with overcoming the return spring pressure. once air pressure gets down too far, the powerpiston (ram) will not have enough power to move the bolt forward against the spring. this is even more true with the LX bolt system. it has even less power in the first 1/4" of the stroke, so most mags will loose usability at even higher pressures.

Will this cause the rest of the air in your tank to leak out of the gun, or will it just not cycle anymore?

on most mags it will simply stop cycling. if you have a maginal PT o-ring, or the LX carrier is maginal, it may leak slightly from not having enough pressure to seal it up.

you can stop the leak by pulling and holding the trigger or turning your air off until you get a refill.
