hhmmmm... I think someone is thinking about making rails! That would be sweet for those of us who like dropless tanks.
I would have the measurments for you but I just sold my rail and picked up a check-it uni-mount.

Im really not sure what you are asking? I have one of your drops with a PI on/off...but im not sure what to tell you about it?

Data. I have one of those drops, they are 2.5" long dovetail pretty much the whole way. 2 set screws on top are a pain to get loose. they are on the extra 1/2" of material compared to another one I have.
That one is 2" total and 1.75" worth of dovetail.
It's made by a local place that also does annodizing, the company is called Kill Zone.
An intresting note: the Kill Zone rail will not fit on a Centerflag Dynaflow bottle, but it will on the CP perfectly. As you can see it fits the Kapp asa adapter perfectly.

This rail from CP looks like it's 2". innovative design, it looks like the three set screws push against the inside of the piece making it expand and tighten the whole connection. Pretty slick.

I have the old CP rail, like the one pictured in the original post. I love it, don't see anything wrong with it..I don't know why they updated it. In fact, I like the old one better simply because it is nicer looking and it is shorter so it shortens your profile an inch.

Data, I'm not sure what you are asking?? Just the length?

Post here or PM me and i can get any measurements for you on the old cp rail (the one in the pic you attached).

How exactly does that first rail attach to a standard bottomline? IE on the bottom of the gripframe?

Are you planning to make a dropless QD rail?:D If so when will it be available?

If you made a DQ that is smaller than my NW QD and CP old rail, i would buy it.

I saw a 3D rendering of DP's no drop QD and it looks like a really nice setup.

BTW: DP, got my drop yesterday...thanks (even though it is the wrong color) ;)

ok here you go, the final will be a little diffrent.

ignore the screw end, it will be a lever when done.

and the screw never comes out... just a half turn to release

i should have a prototype cut by wensday
