Here it is.... Im going to set my ULE X-valved Intelliframed mag in its case for awhile and only pull it out for tournaments...

I was considering the satisfaction that I get from outshooting some spoiled brat (jking) and then bunkering him and his $1500 cell-phoned marker and then showing him the trigger rod on my mechanical mag... and I thought how much more sweet with a PUMP - and a stock class pump at that (though I may break down and buy a small CO2 tank).

So... once I find one its stock class pump for me - though I have no intention of competing in stock class, hence saving my mag for tournaments - two questions

Im looking at a phantom or a super stocker - I think, from what I see they see to be the ones to buy, the pump autocockers (oxymoron) are all meant for hoppers rather than tubes, (is therea conversion out there), any other good pump markers out there? I really like the idea of a pump autococker (that my barrels would fit) and would love to hear about a tube feed conversion for them.

Can a pump run on nitro/compressed air (free fills and can do myself, I feel like Im bothering the field staff when I ask them to do something for me and have complained about CO2 too much in the past)? I understand running air would mean it was not stock class... but Im ok with that. Does anyone sell a VERY small 4500 tank, by small Im thinking like 10CI or so?

the cocker pump i hear has a very good feel to it, and you can convert it to stock class, but it is not as easy to switch back and forth, like a phantom or some removable breech gun

ohh yea...there are small 12 or 22 ci hpa tanks, you just have to visit the pump forums, PPIG or the Phorum and try to find some or get in on a mass order..., they are pretty rare

also, consider getting an illusion from action markers. They are autococker like(but they are not true snipers) and they accept autococker threading. also they have a vert feed tube, and a stockc lass tube that just screw on.

I loved my phantom, but you seem to want an autococking syule marker, for the ease of barrels. so i reccomend to you the Illusion

you could just go pump mag if you can get it to work they are sweet.

13ci hpa tank
$126
click on the "order and pricing" dot and scroll down the order form page...you'll find it eventually

careful though..you might change your mind on the pump and pick up an at-85 instead:D

If price is not a problem, go El Mariachi style... bunker them with a pair of sydarms :)

Phantom, real light and small but a pain to Chrono. can get barrel backs that take Freak inserts and fronts. Must disasemble to switch from stock to hopper. very effecient, 40 shots per 12gm

Illusion, bigger and heavier, but can easily go stock or pump / hopper. very easy to chrono, far easier than an autocrapper or phantom. illusion uses 'crapper barrels.
about 24 shots per 12 gm.

I have one of each and like them both.

Your not going to want to go with a small nitro tank if you are going to use a back bottle setup. The 15rd tube on the top sits close to your mask as it is. If i was you i'd get a vsc phantom with a 45 frame and add a bottomline and nitro tank. Use either a 68ci with a small drop or a 45ci with a a standard asa or unimount.

If you've got around $680 to burn, Id say go for the Stock Class Carter Buzzard, best looking stock class out there. http://www.dyeprecision.com/images/guns/buzzard/buzzardL.gif

actually... MY stock clas sniper is the way i would go. easy to swap from stock clas to hopper, runs on 12 grams (30-35 shots per cartridge), and runs on constant air (air or co2)....

but, you cant have one
