View Full Version : Xmag On/Off Transistor

I've heard of people killing the transistor on the ACE board that switches the power on/off for the marker. I killed one myself when I was installing an ACE board in my emag. If you have ever soldered anything before then they are very easy to replace yourself. The transistor is avaiable from digikey for a couple of bucks. Maybe that'll help someone out if they need to get there marker back up and don't have time to send it in to AGD.

Just search for that.

Yes, that's the correct part number. Make sure to use that exact part number. There are other FZTx49 MOSFET packs where the different "x" number changes the current handling capabilites. with a soldering iron and a pair of tweezers the whole job takes about a minute to do.

I've already done the same thing myself, and it works great. Far quicker and easier than a trip to Airgun and back. And the cost ot order a replacment is less than the cost to ship your marker.
