just curious. i've gotten my lvl 10 to pinch on hard balls (like brass eagle paint), but not fragile paint.

I think it all depends on how far into the breech the ball is. I've gotten my LVX to stop on VERY brittle paint, if its almost perfectly halfway into the breech (so the bolt travels the least distance). -
I shoot my finger all the time with my LVL 10. Its kind of fun. I was a little worried the first time. Now I will do it without question.Comment

Mine is still about halfway inbetween. It won't chop the old Diablo paint I had laying around, but I'm pretty sure it'll get through a dollar bill.
I wonder if adjusting the shims will enhance it? Mine worked without any shims right off the bat... should I try shims to make it lighter.
I'm running the red (middle) spring and it's about all it can take. The largest causes it not to fire about half the time.Comment
