My brother got a X-valved emag. Someone told him he needed a qaud ring to make it work right, but it seems to work fine with the regular oring. Now he has the quad ring in it, and it won't recharge. I know the on/off pin is too long; it is .750. Why exactly is the quad ring required, and if it works fine without it, why put one in?
