i think it is very difficult to short stroke a mag, i shoot pretty fast and i haven't done it ever unless i was goofing around and was tryinig to do it. oh well.

Unless you are screwing around it's easy not to short stroke.

Just pull the trigger all the way in and all the way out. Now wasn't that simple?

I have a minimag with a stock frame still. when i first got it i broke paint every single game that whole day, because i had never used any gun capable of short stroking before. The second time i went paintballing i broke 2 balls all day because i got used to the trigger pull. I am a quick learner, but i can say it does not take much effort at all to get used to the trigger pull. I now have used autocockers and i love the trigger pull, they are nice and light and smooth and i hardly every short stroke them even when rapid firing. I tend to short stroke more with the mag because the trigger pull on the stock frame is long and stiff and just a pain in the *** to pull. I plan on getting a new frame, but i can't make up my mind yet. Anyway, i'd give it a 7 on how difficult it is to short stroke, because if you are used to the pull the only time you would ever do it is when rapid firing.
If you do not have the level 10 bolt, then you had better be on back order status with AGD!

Flame me if you want, But: I've found both the cocker and mag stock triggers alike in the fact, that all you need to do is pull the triggers and fully release them to function correctly.

since i put in my level 10 it is very difficult to short-stroke, even if i wanted to i couldn't

umm actually you can short stroke just as easy with the level 10 as any other bolt, the only difference is that the level 10 won't chop the ball.

well i think the higher operating preasure gives a stiffer more crisp triger pull, wich to me makes my gun hard to short stroke

haha the LAST thing i want is a stiffer trigger pull on my mag...god the stock trigger frame is terrible, i am not physically strong enough to fire faster than 6 bps lol. I just ordered an Intelliframe with blade trigger so that should solve that problem

yeah the trigger was a little stiffer but for some reason i could fire alot faster

i noticed that too before i got my retro. It was hard to pull, yet during games i could shoot like there was no tomorrow. I never short stroked my phase 2 valve, but now that i have the retro it is impossible for m to do so even if i wanted too. That trigger SHOOTS right back out when i fire. Its fun to play with.

about the cockers, i hate the way those triggers and sliding thinngs all work. I played with my bros cocker once, and it was so incredibly confusing. I short stroked every other ball. If the trigger wasn't pulled all the way back, the ball came out slower. Needless to say i was eliminated very quickly in that game.
