what kind of front should i get? im getting a new 10" freak and need to know. Im looking for performance not looks so let me know what you think.

if you are geting a AA front then the barrel will be 13 1/2 you have to get a tear drop front for it to be 10 inch.

NOT TRU...the stryle freaks you can get the AA in all lengths.....but i still like the Tear Drop style...its sweet

Here is a link where they did test for many of the top of the line barrels including the freak with both tips. Apparently the AA tip performed better.

I only use the teardrop...but I love it! They can be a pauin to clean...but, at home, a little hot water, and done!

i have teardrop freak on my minimag,and i never even have to clean it

10" tips are only Teardrop, AA's come in 12,14 and 16" only

10" would be fine for a mag.. AGD recommeneds a 11" barrel anyways, 10 is close and so is 12. DUHHh

If you have a mag then the way the back of the barrel is designed it adds on nearly an inch. But then again the way the barrel goes back into the breach takes off like three.

Anyway a 10 incher would be almost exactly 11.

you measure frmo the tip of the hole to the end of the barrel (not the FULL length ball breach in the barrel)
