It was posted in the tech forum by NPP, a possible fix for the velocity problem.
Since many people are getting very close to the pressure venting point when the velocity is properly set, maybe there is an easy way to increase this pressure point.
Does putting a shim in the regulator actually increase the pressure vent point, or do we need another higher rated regulator to do this?
Is there a way to shim the mag body insert in front of the bolt spring or possibly the bolt itself. That way we can increase the bolt tension and fine tune the bolt spring without altering the chamber pressure required. We won't need to play with the velocity adjustment as much, and we won't get close to the venting point of the regulator.
