I personally would go with the blue, but then again I can't see why anyone would pay that much for an Impy. Don't get me wrong, I dumped some clams into a PMI shocker when they first came out. I just got a BKO bushy and dude it shoots just as good or if not better than my defiant and just as good as the impy. Sure it doesn't look great, but then again the money you save you could make a one of a kind gun.

i like the silver/blue one but i think that where the hose is connected to the vert reg would get in the way of your hands

If I were you, I wouldn't get an Impulse but a Shocker. Impulse's have a sloppy trigger and Shocker's, in my opinion, shoot nicer.
