    Plastic nubbin thoughts

    Hi all, Tom
First off I don't have any plastic nubbins yet these are just
my thoughts after looking at potatoboys pictures.

    http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15214
    and reading about the123's experience
    http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15214

#1 since a lot of people, myself included have had the wire
nubbins bend inside the barrel and break off or worse, jam the
bolt and score the barrel, I wonder why you wouldn't extend
the plastic past the detent bump into the rest of the groove.(thanks potatoboy) this would help prevent the detent
bump from being pulled inside the barrel sort of like the V
    nubbin.

#2 the tension bump (on the back of the nubbin) is very
close to the detent bump this will cause for extreme flexing
in the short bit of plastic between the two bumps. this might
lead to a short life or to much detent tension (see the123's comment/experience)

#3 the plastic past the first oring zigzag looks to be redundant maybe some of it could be move to the other side
    of the detent bump
