Drilling for the Roller Trigger

For those of you who have installed (or had someone install it) the roller trigger from AGD. Are the holes drilled all the way through or only deep enough for the screw? Also, has ANYONE drilled the holes WITHOUT a drill press?

Drilling all the way through is easier and gives you a smaller margin of error. I did it that way and it works perfectly.

Did mine on a drill press all the way thru. Then went back and tapped each hole. I can not imagine trying to do it without a press. Also going all the way thru allows you to keep the holes lined up.

If forgot to add that I held the drill in my teeth and juggled three running chainsaws while drilling the holes.
