Me and my a few of my friends bought ourselves some new hand-held radios. These are 5 mile (1 watt) GMRS radios that require a fcc licence. We all got model T5820. Thing is, they suck. we seem to get the exact same range as the normal 1/2 watt radios.
Anyone else have experiance with personal radios? Maybe i could exchange mine or i could, say... modify it.
