Well, I've decided I'd like to enter the 'world' of mini robot sumoing. There are tournaments in toronto which I'm willing to go so AO CAN is covered (any canucks wishing / willing to lend a hand would be apreciated). Anyone have any ideas? by the way, an unnoficial (but official..) summary of sumoing can be found here: http://www.robotroom.com/SumoRules.html
I've got a basic idea worked out, anyone wishing to contribute, go ahead!
I'll have drawings up of the basic design soon, since I'm on a fixed budget the frame will be composed of reinforced lego technic. The main 'programming' will be simple navigation IE optical sensors, 3 infa red on the bottom to keep the bot inside the ring. Max of 1.1 pounds in mini class, 6.6 in japanese class.
