Need a new knife...

My current pocket knife just dosn't cut it anymore(no pun intended). I picked it up at a flea market back in the day, n I started carrying it a year or 2 ago. Its been pretty good, but it's kinda small, and I just need something new.

I've got tons of knives, but most are too big or just look cool and would fall apart if I tried to do anything with them. Want to spend $40-$60, right now, I'm looking at:

I like CRKT, but i like Cold Steel more

I would choose, if it were me buying, a Kershaw knife.

Specifically, Ken Onion Blur or Tactical blur (if you like the tanto style tip)

I'm a Kershaw guy, myself. Ken Onion Speed safe blackout is what I have right now. Works great...was a little dull when I got it, but sharpened up good.

I just picked up a Cold Steel, I seen a few, they are very sweet. Opens up smoothly, nice clean blade, everything.

I've also owned CRKT, they are some sharp knives!
Stay away for S&W, they aren't too great.
Gerbers are very nice too.

Personally I carry a Gerber knife. They do what I want them too.

I really like my Gerber. I loosen'ed it up a bit, sharpened it, and it was just fine.

BUT, I do like that Recon 1, EXCEPT that it is $90. Way to much.

Hey don't get the CRKT, I have a CRKT like that, the handle is REALLY small and thin. Feels weak and fragile like a baby.

Ken Onion's Leek is a tremendously good blade. Assisted opening, and Fluoresced titanium nitrided finish. Takes a serisouly good edge off my lansky sharpener,

Seen them on Ebay in your price range. I've had mine for about 5-6 months and it still impresses the hell out of me.

I have three knives on the desk infront of me, a Kershaw whirlwind, a Gerber Gator, and a S&W SWAT.
The S&W I cannot get a good blade on and I never really liked the way it opened. Aside from that the tip of the blade actually bent on my fairly easially. I think I paid about $35 for it shipped to me.
The Gerber has a thicker blade and the steel is obviously superior. I can get a pretty edge blade on it but not what I would like to, it may just be my lousy sharpener though. I found this one in a stream but they go for as low as $32.
The Kershaw up untill two days ago I had nothing but good things to say about it. Assisted opening is great, just touch the thumb thing and the blade flips out (50 state legal I believe since you arn't pushing a button to open it). It is very easy for me to get a good sharp edge on it as well. But I took it fishing with me and the salt water killed it and it has some nasty rust spots. I don't see why it should have rusted, there was actually a thin coat of oil on the blade the entire time it was out on the water, the salt water never touched it, and I washed it with fresh water.
