    Linux help!!!

    I just downloaded corel linux and its in the form of an iso image. When I went to put it on a cd, I tried clone cd but its not compatible and then I tried easy cd creator 5. I was wondering if anyone knows a good program to burn the iso image onto a cd so that I can install linux onto my computer.

    I know there are alot of good computer literate ppl out there and I look forward to your answers.

    I use either adaptec or nero to do my cd burning. Right now these are the simplest prgograms to use. If you have Roxio 5 (adaptec)
    follow these steps:
    --> Make a data cd
    --> data cd project
    --> This will load the window to drop and drag data files
    --> Click on the file menu
    --> Choose Open CD Project
    --> Browse to the directory in which you downloaded the file
    --> Click on the file of type: dropdown and chose all files (*.*)
    --> double click on the iso image file
    --> it will exit you and bring up the cd burning options.

    Hope this helps

      ok i know easy cd creator 4 lets you do this, but i dont know about 5, but try this:

      there should be a little thing in your system tray, that looks like a cd, and a cd-rom. double click it, then format the disk, then you should beable to drag and drop it using windows explorer.

          I dont have Easy CD 5.0 but I do have 4.0. Open up the Data CD Creator and go to File->Create cd from Image. Then in file type select *.iso and browse for your image. You should be all set. That option may or may not be in 5.0 but it is in 4.0.
