        Good News and bad

READ IT ALL BEFORE ASKING ME QUESTIONS PLEASE.

I am sending a reply to everyone's payment email and an email/ PM to those that paid via MO. It is also time to do a final update on who is in line for what so we can get everyone's frame paid for and shipped.

        Good news:

The frames are done and will be shipped to me next week. They look like this (on an alpha rail):

        <a href="http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=6315271"><img src="http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/8/22612514117.jpg" alt="Click to enlarge"></a>

        <a href="http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=6315269"><img src="http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/8/22612514036.jpg" alt="Click to enlarge"></a>

You can see the radiused rear edge and recessed rear screw here:

        <a href="http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=6315270"><img src="http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/8/22612514037.jpg" alt="Click to enlarge"></a>

This should also give you a good idea of what the finish on the raw frames looks like. Not bad for machined only.

        Now the bad news:

AGD is out of safety assemblies. When I last got an update I was told it could be as much as a month for them to be in stock again. This means you all have three options:

        1. Pay for your frame and have me ship the safety later. This mean you will need to install it youself (no big deal).

        2. Wait for a safety to be in stock and get your frame then.

        3. Get your frame for 6$ less WITHOUT A SAFETY.

This is one of those deals where I have done what I can and the rest will have to play itself out.

YES you can change your ano choice to whatever. We need at least 40 frames to get a good price on anodizing. If too many drop to raw then I will have to ship them all raw and you will have to sort out your own anodizing. There are still plenty of anodized frames ordered but something to think about when you consider your options.

Let me know if don't receive a message. I am going to go start sending them now. So if you haven't received one by THURSDAY. That is when you should contact me. Once again please ask questions in here. There are about 50 of you and only one of me. Thanks for your patience and cooperation.

To answer a question or two I suspect is coming:

You can pay as soon as you are ready. Payment info in message. The sooner you pay the sooner I ship. You MUST PAY by the time frames are back from anodizing. If you ordered RAW Payment is due by FRIDAY AUGUST 24th.

Raw will ship as soon as I have the frames in hand (also depending on your choice for the safety assembly and payment).

Yes I have been working with AGD on the safeties and yes I contacted them before now to ask about ordering them. There is a chance they will be in before the ano is done. If I get them in time and you pay for them I will install them when I assemble the ano'd frames. Again sorry about this but it is out of my hands. I am doing what I can to get you your frame the way you want it as fast as I can.

Ano colors will set in stone and cannot be changed after August 24th. You DO NOT need to confirm your choice. ONLY if you are changing do I need you to contact me. IF you already contacted me and I replied then I have made the change. Please check your email to confirm what color I have you down for.

Wow that was sooner that I expected, and no need for apologies about the safeties, if it wasn't for all your hard work, none of us would have this awesome opportunity to get these rare and amazing frames, and who needs a safety anyways?...

My only question is... what ASA is that on the first picture, it goes great with the logic and I must have it

That is a smart parts on off asa. I have one on my mag and I love being able to shut off the gas without having to remove my tank. Now to mount a gauge on the asa.

Does that ASA have more than 1 output? Since I'll be turning this frame pneumatic I'll need 2 ports, not trying to thread jack or anything... it's still related to the frame... sort of

Nope it is a one output deal (front of asa). You could always do a t joint out the front. They are available from air soldier. Ok no more talk about the asa I have emails to keep sending.

For anyone that is too anxious to wait you are getting something like this:

                  Dude,

I have you down for one frame in gloss black. Deposit of 50$ paid. Frames are due in next week and will go out to ano within a day or two of arriving. Ano'd frames (with matching ano'd triggers) should be back to me and ready to ship by the second week of September depending on how long it takes to get them done. I will ship them out within a few days of them coming back to me (provided they are paid for).

There are still plenty of anodized frames ordered but something to think about when you consider your options.

Balance due of: 95$ for ano'd frame + 9.15$ for priority shipping with insurance and delivery confirmation = 104.15$ Please add .30 cents plus 3% if paying with paypal (104.15 +.30 + 3%= 107.58$).

Or WITHOUT a safety: balance due of 89$ + 9.15$ for priority shipping with insurance and delivery confirmation = 98.15$ if paying with paypal (98.15 +.30 + 3%= 101.40$).

You need to include your choice for a safety with payment:

                  NO safety.
Installed in frame (this means you will wait until I can get a safety and install it for me to ship).
Safety shipped seperately when I get it in (NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR SHIPPING SAFETY SEPERATELY BUT NO INSURANCE I WILL STICK IT IN AN ENVELOPE STAMP IT AND MAIL IT).

If you ordered your frame raw I will be able to ship to you late next week or early the following week depending on payment etc.

                  Paypal to [email protected]

Money orders can be sent to:

Please don't do this (the bold part). You can still send it first class mail, just don't use a plain envelope. They will put it in with the regular machine sorted mail, and the machine will tear the envelope open with the wheels it uses to shoot the letters to and fro.

Believe me, I've learned this one the hard way, they will gladly deliver an empty envelope with a big tear in one corner.

Use a padded envelope, that makes them hand sort it, and that causes the package not to get automatically gutted while it's being automatically sorted.

Just a "Heads Up" so you don't find out the same way I did.

Thanks for the heads up. I learned this lesson with a mail box key once. I will make sure it comes in an envelope that will not spit out the parts. I just wanted people to be aware of the no insurance issue (that would be cost prohibitive).

The safety assemblies on these are the same ones used in classic CF frames so yes you could transfer it over. And your welcome. I do accept tips in case anyone is wondering.

For those ordering raw I will ship as soon as the frames are here and I have payment.

Balance due of: 75$ for raw frame WITH safety assembly + 9.15$ for priority shipping with insurance and delivery confirmation = 84.15$ Please add .30 cents plus 3% if paying with paypal (84.15 +.30 + 3%= 86.98$).

Or WITHOUT a safety: balance due of 69$ + 9.15$ for priority shipping with insurance and delivery confirmation = 78.15$ if paying with paypal (78.15 +.30 + 3%= 80.80$).
