the thing that seperates that older models from the level 7 is that the level 7 uses a powertube spacer instead of a spring. the powertube is also not removable in the level 7 models. if you have an older model, don't worry abou tit unless uyou have problems.
The "levels" were set by AGD to differentiate between those serial numbers where large improvements have been made to the line. Level 6 guns are quite rare any more as many, if not most, were sent in for conversion to level 7.
Level 7 upgraded the power tube construction (it is no longer removeable), uses power tube spacers instead of the older spring, the on/off was improved for more/faster air flow, the high pressure piston was introduced and the body rail is no longer machined for the pump arm. The frame also was upgraded to graphite. The MinimaG was the first complete gun with all the new upgrades, including an exclusive body tube.
The RT was another improvement to the series, and could have been called level 8, but that would be getting silly. The RT has a valve that uses air routed through the rail from the front grip. The RTs valve can not be used in any other Mag body. The RT-Pro, while essentially the same as the RT, uses the ReTro valve. This valve is the essentially the same as a normal A.I.R. valve, except gas from your tank is routed to the top of the on/off pin, effectively pushing the trigger back at twice the pressure that you pulled it. Adjusting your tank's output presure will enable you to "bounce" the trigger, getting a mad rate of fire. The ReTro valve, BTW, is the fastest recharging valve in paintball, speeds of over 26 balls per second are possible and has been done!
AGD brought out the Emag last year. This could be called the level 10 'Mag, but it's not The Emag is fully electronic with a hitch: if your batteries die, you can hit a switch and manually crank out balls at RT speeds! To show you how good the Emag is; at the last big international tourney, players were trading their Angel LCDs for Emags
The level numbers are decieving, as there is no 12345! These were all prototypes that Tom tried out until he came up with the level 6, which for the day was light years ahead of the competition.
