To be honest, I havent had time to do anything with the vertical frames with the holidays, and, at my day job, they put us on 12 hour shifts until the 19th of this month. I can do the vertical frames in any wood. I just havent had the time to do so, had a coupla custom orders that I had to get out also during this time. The frame allows me to check the fit to make sure. Mann, you have a set on reserve, just tell me what wood that you want and I will get them to you as soon as possible.

Gus, will respond to your PM ASAP, but yes, the 45 Prima Vera is availible.
WOW, sigs. Havent seen these in a while here on AO.

Thanks, and I added African Wenge to the "soon to have". I have wanted to get some of this stuff for a very long time and I finally was able to get it at a decently reasonable price. Pics soon

What do you think would look the best on this? I want to something that contrasts a little so I do not want an orange color.

Cocobolo with a poly finish would look great on that.

CanaryWood would look great on that. It is a blond wood with little streaks of orange, red and yellow in it. Or, the Zebrawood, blond and dark stripes.

Wow, and i thought making a pair of 45 grips, made out of tiger striped maple for maxed out 98c was hard. Nice job.

I would LOVE to get a pair of these for my mag, but i don't know what would go good with a black karta/red x-valve set up. All these woods look amazing, any idea as to what would go well? i can't make up my mind ARG! some seriously nice grips tho man oh, for an e-mag, and probably just flat panels would do nicely. Thanks!

How about a set of Heartwood. They are a red colored wood, not as bright as the Xvavle, but still red. And, the heartwood happens to be my cheapest wood that I have .

It is really hard for me to judge what look you are going for, its more of a personal decision.

Oh, and Styg, I notice that you are pushing that Bloodwood. That stuff is like grinding concrete. Some of the hardest wood I have dealt with yet. But, it does look good

    red grips

Heartwood = grips that will last as long as you

Bloodwood = grips that will last as long as a mag

The Heartwood look really nice, have KRUGER hit em with a little oil to darken up the red and they look awesome. And it will save KRUGER a sanding belt or 3.

Updated my pic earlier in the thread to show the finished grips - if you are going to poly coat them, use a spray poly, so much easier, and comes out cleaner.

Sure, if I had some. Or, if you have some, then you can send it to me and I can make you some. $25 for 45 frame and $27 for Emag frame.
