Well... I'll be nineteen in about 15 minutes

Anyway, most of the people who play in eastern washington are either mid twenties to fourties recballers who play in their backyard or ten to twelve year olds whos parents pay for them to go to the local indoor field so that they don't have to deal with them. There are about three teams around here, you might have heard of team evolution. They run one of our local fields. First paintballers that I met that were between 17 and 19 were on that team.

I'm 21 and I play mostly tourney and a little rec ball every now and then to test new stuff that I buy. I played a couple of times about 4 years ago then I didn't play again until about a year and a half ago, but since I got picked up by a team last June (I think it was about then) I've been playing 2 times a month on average.

Please please please tell me that ya'll guys think that just because I'm 13 and female I don't pay for all my equipment. No I'm not one of the little rich kids, and I'm not a little kid either. But I do infact pay for all my gear. I'm not like the perpy girls who spends all thier money on make up and boy bands. Most if not all my money goes to Paintball.

Well, I'm 15, gonna have my license soon. I've played 2-3 years (I'm not sure when I started) and my dad has been playing for 2, he's 43. I started with a tigershark, got an Eagle 68, got a Spyder Compact(partially tricked out), got a Bruizer Outlaw, bought a Tippmann 98 for a backup to the then-****ty Outlaw, fixed the Outlaw, bought my mag w/mods and I use the Outlaw for cold days.

Tunaman..I gotcha beat. Both my wife and I are 42. We play all the time ( can't get a better workout at any price ). The whole family has their own equipment, and the sons have paid for all their own gear. There are some outrageous 'guns in this house !!!
We have one little kid, around 9 years old, at our field, who's parents obviously bought his stuff. This kid is so good, he was voted MVP in the 1999 24 hour game at KC Crusaders, with 642 participants.
I don't blame his dad for spending a little bit for his kid's education. Politest kid I ever met. You can see him and some other cool shots at www.kccrusaders.net.
We DO hate the ones who have the expensive toys and can't play...no matter how old they are !!

    15, 16 in 17 days. Whoooooo. I can't wait to drive.
Nothing I hate more than a little kid with a $900 whose daddy buys his gear. I just wish my parents would let me buy as much stuff as the other kid gets. I would have a mag right now if it wasn't for them. I'm just a little pissed off, d*mn it!!!

well im one of those 14 year olds whose parents buy me everything. but im proud of it cause i would take free stuff any day over having to work for it.

now if i could i would work because if i need something for paintball and need it bad (ie. ammo) i have to beg. whereas if i could get a job i could buy it myself. but my parents wont let me work and whenever i try and use what little money i have i get an "oh put that away ill pay"

I'm 14, been playin for 2 years. I buy all my gear, paint, and air; thats probably why I don't have a Mag yet, but soon.
One of the guys that I play with has his parents buy him everything, at the moment he has a splashed shocker with bout 5 barrels, a pro carbine, and a couple nitro tanks. Let me tell you, he ain't the favorite person at our field.
