12 or 14 years late on the welcome, but I appreciate the sentiment.

    Zap,

Can I get #39? I'm looking at a "very near Christmas" point on the list.

Could you do your vertical ASA install on a 15* ASA and make the LPR parallel to the barrel? Is there enough threading on the LPR

How well would this work on a ReTro valve with no ULT?

Angles are no problem. Won't know about the threads for sure until I look at it and take measurements. I don't think there is anything to worry about.

The video posted above is an x-valve with RT pin (not ULT). The only difference is the Retro is the stainless body. You should get similar results.

Cool, thanks for the info! Don't have the cash right now but a Cheater is definitely the next upgrade on my list. If I don't make it into round 2, I hope there is a round3

Not sure about the Triton frame. I don't think I have ever seen one. Perhaps it is best to send it in for install.

does not ready fit in the triton

Thanks, Mark. Can you explain a little bit better? I'm holding it because I would like to know exactly what would I need to do to have it fit in there.

Would this fit into a Z-grip or would I need to modify the frame?

You DEF have to mod a Z, many many ways too first inside wider then so it can sit deep enough then you might need a longer cheater rod

It dropped in a Chimera for one guy no problem. I have another one coming in for install that won't quite fit. I'm not sure yet but it looks like the Chimera is just slightly narrower inside. I'll know more after I get a look.

Sooner or later I will put up a collection of install pics for reference.

I think it depends on which run of Chimera you have. I have one from the first run, and it's too narrow for a straight drop in.

If you have one of the later runs, it'll likely fit. Easiest way is to measure how wide your insides are from the top of the frame.

    Good call.

Zap, can you please provide the outer width measure of your drop-in kit? This way I can measure the inside of my frame and place the order knowing that it'll fit.

    Thanks!

The Intelliframe is .550" wide inside. I machine them to .545" give or take a few thou's depending on accuracy of cut and how much I take off for surface clean up. Most will be between .542 - .547 wide with an oddball here and there. The piston bore is about .485" diameter so we don't have much room to work.

For best results you should send me your frame. Guaranteed perfect fit every time

I guess I can mill one to a custom width easy enough. Probably not less than .499" to fit a .500" frame. I can also leave the screw dimples out since they are for Intelliframe. I'll work on one of the rejected bodies and see how far I can take it down.

If you already placed an order let me know if you want a custom width.

Hi, I placed an order. I am putting this in a Chimera. Not sure if it's the newer or older version. Can I get mine a little on the narrow side and with no dimples? Thanks Zap!!!

OK, took some time and it does work on the triton. The screw dimples do not line up hence I thought at first the trigger geometry wouldnt work took some time tweaking its position in the frame and got it shoot. HOLY i thought it would be alike most other pnue frames but no its is E trigger weight.
