    FRG HyPerMag

Hey guys. I just picked up a couple of 'mags and some misc gear for $400. Probably not the best price, but oh well. Now I have two more 'mags.

Next week I might have another.

One is a HyPerMag. I'm not sure about the other valve. I've never seen one quite like it. It looks like the reg isn't adjustable.

The HyPerMag looks great on the outside. It definitely needs to be cleaned up on the inside. It looks like it hasn't been aired up in years. It has a black minimag body, proline single-trigger frame and a squeegee sidecar.

It's adjustable man... you just have to take the caps off. The top one is a cap for the bottom one which acts as a tourney lock. You just have to pull the top one off and loosen the bottom one to adjust the velocity...

    Nice looking mags...

Yeah. I saw that discussion a few weeks ago. I laughed a little when I picked up the guns this morning and saw it on there.

They're both going to need new springs and o-rings all around as well as a little wire brushing on the bolts before they work well. That will give me something to do while I'm avoiding my homework.

Why do mags have to be so addictive?

So I have never seen a HyperMag like this. What is different about the valve...what makes it "hyper"? It looks brand new nice find are these rare?

I would guess that it's just a Classic valve that was laser'd for "fox River Games" to be bundled with HyperFrames. I'm sure that someone here will now more then I though.

Beside the engraving, Hypermags have a spacer in the air chamber. Additionally, they have a different spring pack and the piston is adjusted to keep it for leaking. Hyper-valves run at a higher pressure than regular mags.
I'm a lefty that plays with an old school RT with H/L. I bought a warp and all is right with the world.

Looks like you've got a Fred Schultz signature edition Air America drop/cradle on the first mag, nice, I used to have one of those back in the day.
