I hear you, but I've been sitting on 50 slug Uni-bodies for a few years now. The past week or so I've been contemplating a few designs for those, that's a big investment just collecting dust. But yea, for sure, standard slug bodies are right at the top of the list too. LOL

You have a rail for that right? I just sold the last one a few days ago..

Thank you, just gotta do a few parts in gloss and mill out the room for the oring in the Bob Long ASA to sleeper it. Then I'm a trex away from completion.

This is by far my personal favorite frame ever made for the Automag, yes, most definitely bias but still the truth!

I rarely get a chance to see what you guys are building, I love all the varieties you guys come up with, love the build btw.

Have you had a chance to take it to the field yet?

Unfortunately not, tried to take it out one day and I got rained out, since then I had the ASA drilled put, so I haven't even gassed it up recently and really cant until I mill put the oring section. Hopefully I'll be all set to head out with it in a few weeks.

Did you like the Armada body, its wavy? I was going to make a few of those because awo was asking for one, but they will be machined from the new standard slug bodies planned for production in the relatively close future.

As far as the uni-bodies, I screwed up and used pretty small billet based solely on the Deflator design and I didn't end up using all the slugs. There's enough material to do some designs but not enough to get very wavy. A wave body is certainly a good idea but will have to plan later down the line for it.

This was the Armada, pictures really doesn't do this justice, kinda looks big in the pic, but in person it's definitely not.
All the long Armada rails I've done will line up with the body milling, including the new Armada Hybrid that is in the works. The new Hybrid will make the whole setup a little shorter.

Only 4 were made up to this point, I'm planning on doing a few more, I want one and awo looking for one. It will probably just be a small run, with no minimum.

Currently it's just a non thought out basic concept being tossed around, but the idea stems from the Lc Wave rail. If you've ever held one of those AM rails in your hands (you cant really see it in the pictures) that's the basic idea. They just have a really cool flowing shape, to me it's like a small rolling wave lapping into a shoreline.

I wonder. Does anyone know if these would perhaps be compatible with the Nummech N-Mag Drop Forward? I'm still old school and like a nice drop forward, and would prefer internal porting to the LPR if possible.

    Definitely not.

If you want a gas through drop you may want check out my Sidekick ASA. I have always loved drop forwards and the shortest setup up possible, the Sidekick gets you there only a little differently.
