What are these threads for on the X-Mag

I just bought this xmag, and am wondering what these threads are for, if it's missing a part i'm unfamiliar with. I can't figure out why there'd be threads on the back half of the body. Thanks

A threaded steal ring goes in there.
If you do not have that you will not want to fire the marker.
Here is what it looks like

It's the bolt/spring stop....or the same as the washer and c-clip in a ULE or the welded ring in a classic.

So in other words, you might want to get a new ring before you do anything with the body. Sandman/AGD and/or Tuna will have it and tell you how to install it lroperly
