Bring fire. Sometimes they are loctited in.

If it is loctited in then fire or a heat gun, about 500 F is what you need.

Heat gun it is.
What do you guys use to grab it if I need to heat it up?

Commit to the fact you will not save the feedneck if it is Loctited on. Like Pinky says a little heat goes a long ways with loctite.
If you surrender to the fact of not saving the original..it's much easier to get off....
If there is no loctite you can remove it by hand and a nitrile rubber glove.

Screw a barrel in and use vise grips if needed if the heat gun doesn’t work.
Vise grips not pliers

If I need a new feedneck, will this work?

Are "angel 1" threads the same as angel threads?

Strap wrench.
Good question... They do designate it specifically as Angel 1 and others as WDP.
I don't know that answer myself.
Anyone know that answer?
Just my 2 cents. I would spend the extra money for Inceptions or Nummech. Not just because I sell them, but because they are both significantly stronger feednecks.
Empire feednecks are ultimately the strongest but they are the biggest too. They are less than Nummech and Inceptions but still more than CP.
Those cp ones work, I use one on my pump below
Only issues I've come across was that there doesn't seem to be a lot of threads on the cp feedneck, idk if it is because I re-anodized the feedneck but I came across the issue where the feedneck loosened on me cause the weight of the hopper, luckily enough I caught it before any damage happened to the body/feedneck threads and I've since used Loctite on it and now it seems to hold strong, I can't say for sure for electronic hopper, cause I've only ever used a 100rd gravity fed hopper on it since
And like Sandman says, spend a bit extra and get a more sturdy/beefier one, looking back on it, I would of probably chosen an inception feedneck for this build if they existed when I built it
Needed the torch but I got it off.
