Leak down the barrel, what did I do wrong

Ok, still learning my mag symptoms,

Just rebuilt my x valve with a kit from agd

Now I have a leak down the barrel. The leak almost goes all the way away when I pull the trigger but it is not firing either

    What did I do

If it's leaking down the barrel, try a different o-ring in the carrier. As far as I know, some o-rings fit better than others, experimentation will be required. Did you pull apart the rear half of the reg when you were cleaning and replacing stuff? If you didn't screw it in far enough, there won't be enough pressure for it to fire.

Remove the L10 carrier and any shims
Fit the carrier on the bolt stem and see how snug it is. It must be snug...not tight or loose. Tighter is better here
lay out all your L10 carriers in order of size.
If the oring is too tight or too loose, remove it and try it in another carrier until you get it right. You should be just able to shake the bolt from the carrier while dangling it. Do not damage the oring while removing it.

Put your bolt on, hold onto to the entire valve assembly by the bolt. The valve shouldn't slide down easily at all. It should hold. If it slides go to the next smaller size. If it doesn't budge, could be right or could be too small.

    Ok, new problem

No more leak down the barrel but I feel like I'm going backwards

Air it up, trigger rod comes forward, pull the trigger and nothing. No firing, trigger rod stays back and does not reset unless I degas the marker and gas it up again

Ugggg, I feel like I'm so close and so far at the same time

Attached photo, see if anything looks out of place

You cant put that reg pin in all together like that. And dont pull them out all together either. Install the pin, then the reg seat oring, then the reg seat holder. Small oring stays in the back half like you have it. Make sure to crank up velocity using 1/2 turns until it clicks. Let us know.

Hmmm, progress. I think I had the reg way too low, after reassembling it like you said and cranking up quite a bit I got it to start shooting but it will only fire at very low rates of fire and is not always resetting after the shot. The trigger rod stays back rather than coming forward
