    Micromag feedneck

Buddy of mine has a micro mag he got in a box of junk...

Doesn’t have a feedneck... has 2 pins (seemingly for alignment) in the body... with 2 holes for screws.

Never worked on one of these before... if we track down a feedneck for it... does it have to have 2 pins or will a feedneck with 1 pin work?

Also... any possibility to find a vert feedneck?

    Thanks everyone.

He should probably put it back in that box of junk...where it belongs.

As long as those screw holes aren't stripped you have options.
    - For 3D printing, AO's knownothingmags/RKM Designs may have something, and Daniel Auer (flapjack) on Facebook used to print Micromag feednecks (including an offset vertical feed) via ShapeWays.
    - There was actually a lone splash ano'd Micromag standard feedneck on eBay all last month - maybe it's still there?
    - You could also get in touch with ProTeam Products/Forest Hatcher to see if they have any standard or powerfeeds left floating around the old warehouse.

    Micromag feedneck

If you find a feedneck, it’s two Allen head screws with two washers on each screw.

You could send PTP an email about a feedneck. I highly doubt they have any left but, its worth the couple days wait.

But i will also echo Tuna's sentiment on the body. It is not worth the effort, IMO.
