    Classic RT small plug threads

I’m looking for what thread the small plugs in the back of the rail are. My assumption is 6-32 but I don’t want to start threading those in and find out I’m wrong...

Also, does anyone know where to find low profile 1/8 NPT plugs?
Il n'y a point de sots si incommodes que ceux qui ont de l'esprit.

Fastenal has it all, or at least that is what the commercials tell me.

I am sure someone else can tell you, but what you can do is unscrew plugz put plug up against a know screw size, or take the new screw & very gently thread it in by hand. After about 2-8 turns, if it didn't bind, then its the right size.

Fastenal should have the 1/8th NPT plugs you are looking for in store or you can order them. You might get them chepaer than McMaster-Carr, you might not.

Those would still be too tal to be flush in an RT rail, I need ones that are like .2-.25 I think. I’ll check McMaster.

I was able to confirm they are 6-32 for the rear plugs.
