    Level 10 Issue

I have an RT valve that works fine with level 7 bolt. However, when the level 10 bolt is on, even with smallest carrier, it leaks down the barrel. And not a little leak, full throated tank dump leak. Any thoughts on the issue?

Are you sure the level 10 carrier is the smallest size or just the smallest size you have?

Smallest one in the kit. Kit is from mid 2000’s.

Have you tried a new bolt stem o-ring? #25 in picture.

Are the other pieces assembled properly? You don’t need the #28 shims unless it doesn’t vent when hitting an obstruction (use a squeegee or other soft material to test).

Even if your carrier o-ring was worn out, and even if you need to use a smaller carrier, would the valve really dump air down the tube? I think it would only leak slowly.

Are you sure you haven't accidentally swapped something else out? Like....are you using the Level 7 bolt instead of the Level 10 bolt?

Make sure the L10 carrier oring #25 above when installed in the carrier fits snug on the bolt stem before installing the carrier in the powertube

If that means you got it fixed, please provide details to confirm what was wrong. Thanks.

I get my hands on it tomorrow. It’s actually a friend of mine’s gun. He hasn’t played in some time and could never get it to work right. He’s coming out to play tomorrow and I’m going to try and get it up and running. Thanks for all the info. I’ll let you guys know how it goes.

Fixed it! Too many shims, new carrier o-ring and too short on the trigger rod.
